Osa Conservation Carbon Offsetting Program

 The Osa Conservation Carbon Offsetting Program undergoes rigorous verification processes to ensure compliance with recognized standards such as the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) or other applicable methodologies. This verification ensures the credibility and accuracy of the carbon offsets generated.

The program generates carbon credits that can be sold in the voluntary carbon market. The revenue from the sale of carbon credits is reinvested in local conservation initiatives, sustainable development projects, and community benefits.

In addition to carbon sequestration, the program delivers co-benefits such as the protection of biodiversity, preservation of critical habitats, improvement of water quality, and support for local communities.
